Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concert film is ruling the world and Swifties from the UAE are in for a treat.

Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour which was released on October 13, 2023, is having a successful run at the domestic as well as global box office.
The American singer Taylor Swift dominated the box office in the US this past weekend, with her concert film Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour which raked in just under $93 million in ticket sales in the first four days in theaters.
Now, both Taylor and her film have received thumbs up from yet another film director. This time, it’s Oppenheimer filmmaker Christopher Nolan who stepped up to praise the Bad Blood singer for how she has chosen to distribute her latest Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour film.
The 33-year-old singer directly distributed her concert film through AMC theatres without taking help from Hollywood studios.
According to Variety, in a recent discussion at an event at the City University of New York, the British-American filmmaker hailed Taylor’s smart decision for how she bypassed studios and teamed directly with AMC Theatres.
“It’s going to make an enormous amount of money,” Christopher Nolan said of Taylor Swift’s concert film after she chose theater owner, AMC, as the film’s distributor. Talking about the film and distribution format, Nolan added that “if they don’t want it,” aiming at Hollywood studios’, “somebody else will.”

Meanwhile, the much-anticipated The Eras Tour will be released in the Emirates on November 3, 2023. As per the Gulf News, advance bookings for the film have already begun at the local cinemas. Vox Cinemas also released a statement confirming that the film will hit the big screen next month.
Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concert film opened to $92.8 million domestically during the October 13-15 weekend. The film earned $123.5 million globally and also became the top-grossing concert film of all time in North America.
