Shah Rukh Khan expressed gratitude, noting that the affection from fans for Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki meant more to him than the success of the films. He acknowledged that people both within and outside India have embraced him wholeheartedly. He acknowledged that fans have sent a clear message, urging him not to stay away from the big screen for extended periods, and he expressed deep gratitude for the overwhelming support.

Dunki, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, brought a different flavor to Shah Rukh’s filmography with its unique take on the illegal immigration technique known as ‘donkey flight.’ Despite mixed reviews, the comedy-drama, featuring Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani, Vikram Kochhar, and Anil Grover, resonated with audiences. Shah Rukh praised Hirani’s films for addressing matters of the heart and emphasized Dunki’s poignant exploration of home and family.

Shah Rukh expressed that Dunki holds a poignant message about the enduring connection to one’s home, emphasizing the strong roots and cherished sentiments associated with India.

During the event, Khan also gave a special shout-out to the cast and crew of Dunki, celebrating the collaborative effort that brought the film to life.
