OnePlus Open is set for a global launch on the 19th of October. Now, ahead of official announcement a leaked image shared by Digital Chat Station and translated from Chinese, showcases the OnePlus Open in a partially folded configuration, exhibiting speakers on both sections of the display.

It is rumored that the forthcoming foldable device by OnePlus will incorporate OLED technology for both its inner and outer screens. However, the image does not provide any glimpse of the rear side of the handset.

As per the informant’s disclosure, the Oppo Find N3 and the OnePlus Open are anticipated to showcase an internal OLED display measuring 7.82 inches, boasting a resolution of 2268 x 2440 and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The internal display is equipped with a 6.31-inch OLED screen, featuring a resolution of 2484 x 1116 and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The devices are powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, accompanied by 16GB of RAM, and offer up to 1TB of 4.0 UFS storage capacity.

The Oppo Find N3/OnePlus Open is equipped with a triple-camera setup. The rear camera module will consist of a primary camera boasting a resolution of 48 megapixels, a secondary camera also with a resolution of 48 megapixels, and a telephoto camera with a resolution of 64 megapixels, capable of achieving 3x optical zoom. Additionally, it is rumored to include a front-facing camera with either a resolution of 32 megapixels or 20 megapixels, catering to the needs of selfies and video chats.

OnePlus has announced the inclusion of a highly advanced hinge design in their latest phone. Notably, the company boasts an impressive portfolio of 35 patents exclusively dedicated to this hinge, surpassing the Oppo Find N2 by utilizing 31 fewer components. Additionally, the manufacturer claims a substantial reduction in the device’s size by 37% to enable a more compact folding mechanism.
