“Who’s a scab?”

Jeopardy! host Mayim Bialik, in solidarity with hanging WGA writers, stepped down from internet hosting the hit quiz present this week. Ken Jennings, Jeopardy!‘s alternate host and previous champion, then stepped as much as tackle internet hosting duties for the season’s ultimate week of filming from Could 16 to 19. In doing so, he crossed the writers strike picket line. Disappointing!

Deadline:

Jeopardy!, which is produced by Sony Photos Tv, is a WGA present and options contributions from WGA writers, however the questions had been written upfront of a season and the strike.

Bialik and Jennings have shared internet hosting duties this season; Jennings hosted the primary stretch of episodes between August and December with Bialik beginning in January. Jennings will now host the final week earlier than the summer season hiatus because of Bialik’s choice.

This all comes as all the Jeopardy! writers, together with Michele Loud, Jim Rhine and Billy Wisse, have joined the picket traces as a part of the WGA strike.
