Revolver tells the story of a former police officer, Ha Soo-young, who was wrongfully imprisoned and is determined to seek justice upon her release. Jeon Do-yeon portrays the role of Ha Soo-young, beloved for her recent performance in Crash Course in Romance. Lim Ji-yeon, who made waves with her remarkable performance in The Glory, takes on the character of Jung Yoon-sun, joining forces with Ha Soo-young to pursue their goals.
Ji Chang-wook steps into the shoes of Andy, a character who adds intensity to Ha Soo-young’s quest for truth. The film’s producers have hinted that Ji Chang-wook will showcase a different facet of his acting, deviating from his usual on-screen persona.
Some fans have speculated about the possibility of Ji Chang-wook taking on a negative role in this film, adding to the intrigue. Moreover, the collaboration between director Oh Seung-uk and actor Jeon Do-yeon in Revolver marks a reunion, as they previously worked together on The Shameless. Furthermore, there are reports that Revolver is being considered for submission to the Cannes Film Festival in 2024, heightening expectations.
