Describing his MCU role as “interesting,” Yeun has kept details of his casting under wraps. However, speculations suggest that The Walking Dead star could be portraying Sentry (aka Robert Reynolds), a Marvel Comics superhero with Superman-like abilities, grappling with an internal malevolent alter ego known as the Void.

The creator of The Walking Dead, Robert Kirkman, inadvertently disclosed Yeun’s role in the MCU during a conversation with comic artist David Finch, reports The Direct. Kirkman revealed, “My good friend Steven Yeun is playing the Sentry in a movie.” Finch acknowledged the information, expressing excitement about the upcoming portrayal.

Kirkman further shared that Yeun had recently undergone a costume fitting for the Sentry. He humorously added, “I hope I’m not… I don’t think this is a spoiler or anything that will get anybody in trouble. I don’t know, maybe. We’ll see. I don’t care. I don’t work for Marvel. What are they going to do to me?”
