The Super Bowl 2024 showcased the much-awaited teaser of Deadpool 3, now titled Deadpool & Wolverine bringing Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s Deadpool and Wolverine in the forefront.

The R-rated teaser of Deadpool & Wolverine, featuring Wade Wilson calling himself the “Marvel Jesus” has won the internet- and, how!

On Sunday, the Super Bowl trailer unveiled the first footage of the MCU title Deadpool & Wolverine, teasing that the Time Variance Authority (Disney+ series, Loki’s multi-verse hopping organization) plays a key role in the upcoming film.

The two-minute and twenty-five-second long trailer starts with Wade Wilson aka Deadpool’s emotional birthday bash getting interrupted by the Time Variance Authority (TVA) agents. The antihero is then given a chance to be a “hero among heroes”, including Marvel’s OG superheroes like Captain America, Iron Man, and Thor.

“Your little Cinematic Universe is about to change forever,” promises Wade Wilson before he is sent on a mission. “I’m the Messiah. I am Marvel Jesus,” says Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool, who earlier in the clip made a joke about Marvel owner, Disney.

Deadpool & Wolverine trailer also gave a little glimpse at the X-Men franchise star Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine. The footage and Deadpool’s R-rated jokes have caused a stir on social media. Take a look:
