K-Pop phenomenon, BTS members RM and V have finally shared updates from their mandatory military service.

BTS members Kim Nam-joon and Kim Tae-hyung enlisted in the South Korean mandatory military service on December 11, 2023, as active duty soldiers.

On Tuesday, January 16, 2024, BTS leader RM took to his official instagram account and shared a carousel of images updating his military whereabouts with his 45.2 million followers. The Indigo singer wrote “LOYALTY!” as he shared images in military uniform, also featuring his bandmate V.

According to Allkpop, Kim Nam-joon also shared an image of an award that he received as an “Elite Trainee” of the “27th Recruit Training Regiment.”

In the images, both RM and V look dashing as they have now completed their military training with top honours. The South Korean singers have sent their fans into a frenzy with new photos as elite military trainees.

Meanwhile, Kim Taehyung will reportedly undergo an additional three-week training course at the Army General Administration School.

All seven Bangtan boys are currently serving their military duty in South Korea. BTS members Jungkook and Jimin enlisted together, a day after RM a V on December 12, 2023.

The eldest member of BTS, Kim Seok-jin aka Jin will be the first one to return home in 2024. The full group will be discharged from their military service by June 2025.
