BLACKPINK’s LISA just broke another Guinness World Record with her solo Money.

The Thai singer and member of the South Korean girl group BLACKPINK continues her reign as a soloist on musical platforms all over the world.
The idol has set yet another record, creating history as a K-Pop soloist and the Guinness World Records (GWR) made it clear.
On September 27, 2023, the Guinness World Records (GWR) awarded Lisa with a certificate as her solo Money surpassed one billion streams on the music platform Spotify.
The track Money which Lisa released in 2021 as a part of her solo album LALISA became the first K-pop track by a solo artist to reach one billion Spotify streams.
According to GWR, as of September 21, Money reached approximately 1,002,683,408 streams on Spotify, making it the first K-Pop track by a solo artist to achieve this feat.
With this latest Guinness World Record, the artist now has a total of four solo records this year including the first solo K-pop winner at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2022, the first solo K-pop winner at 2022’s MTV Europe Music Awards, most followers for a K-pop artist on Instagram.
The LALISA rapper’s new achievement has once again filled the BLINKs with pride and they took to social media to express their joy.

Meanwhile, with her girl group BLACKPINK which consists of three other members Jisoo, Jennie, and Rosé, the K-Pop idol also holds GWR titles for having the most subscribers on YouTube for a band, most streamed female group on Spotify, the first K-pop group to reach No. 1 for Born Pink on the Official U.K. Albums chart, as well as the first K-pop group to reach No. 1 for Born Pink on the Billboard 200.
