The video, which has been viewed by MacRumors, reportedly demonstrates that the box opens in a similar fashion to Mac and iPhone boxes, by sliding off the top. Furthermore, it showcases the substantial size of this box, which is said to be larger than a Mac Studio box.
While some may view this as excessive, it is important to remember that Vision Pro comes bundled with:
Solo Knit Band
Dual Loop Band
Light Seal with two Light Seal Cushions
USB-C Charging Cable and Power Adapter
The Vision Pro box seems to have been designed with careful consideration for the device’s contents and fragile structure. Apple has a track record of introducing their cutting-edge products in large boxes.
The top of the box displays the front face of the Vision Pro headset, with the gray text “Vision Pro” running along the longer edges. When you open the box, you will discover the headset, two adjustable headbands of varying sizes, and a comfortable fabric face mask that blocks out light.

According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple has reportedly sold a significant number of units of the headset, ranging between 160,000 and 180,000. Kuo further explains that due to the high demand for the Vision Pro, the shipping dates for new orders have been extended. Customers can now expect delivery times of 5-7 weeks from the headset’s launch date on February 2.
Kuo stated, “As expected, the Vision Pro sold out immediately after pre-orders became available, resulting in a delay of shipping times for all models to 5-7 weeks within a few hours.”
In China, there is a growing underground market for Apple’s highly anticipated Vision Pro mixed reality headset. Resellers are taking advantage of the situation by selling the device at double the official price to attract eager enthusiasts before its scheduled release next month.
